Премьер-министр Грузии объявил о приостановке процесса открытия переговоров с Европейским Союзом до конца 2028 года. Также было заявлено об отказе страны от получения любых грантов от ЕС.
Иракли Кобахидзе отметил, что обсуждение открытия переговоров с ЕС стало инструментом для давления и раскола общества, аналогично тому, как ранее использовалась тема предоставления статуса кандидата на вступление в ЕС.

Stocks dropped on Friday afternoon, as gains made earlier in the day on hopes for diplomatic progress between Russia and Ukraine turned to losses. Technology stocks were hit particularly hard by higher bond yields. Additionally, investors are often instructed to deposit monies into personal bank accounts of individuals who claim to represent a legitimate entity, and/or into an unrelated corporate account. To lend credence and to lure unsuspecting victims, perpetrators usually claim that their entity and/or the investment schemes are approved by financial authorities. Continuing its crackdown against entities allegedly involved in a front-running scam using messaging app Telegram, Sebi on Thursday carried out search and seizure operations at the premises of eight entities in multiple locations across the country. Although some channels have been removed, the curation process is considered opaque and insufficient by analysts. During the operations, Sebi officials seized various records and documents, including 34 mobile phones, six laptops, four desktops, four tablets, two hard drive disks and one pen drive from the custody of these persons.
