So I went back on something that physically looks more like a book - so the object is immediately recognized as a “book” by visitors, and there's no additional cognitive hurdle.
Having said that, I want to have some weight associated with the book, and still have a slightly industrial effect. So, for the cover, I've been inspired by the buildings - particularly the Hub and Container in the game - and I'm proposing to start with a Satisfactory yellow/orange leather/faux leather cover (depending on the colors I find), and to reinforce this cover with a light black aluminum structure.

Andrey, a Russian entrepreneur living in Brazil who, fearing retaliation, asked that NPR not use his last name, said Telegram has become one of the few places Russians can access independent news about the war. 'Wild West' "We as Ukrainians believe that the truth is on our side, whether it's truth that you're proclaiming about the war and everything else, why would you want to hide it?," he said. One thing that Telegram now offers to all users is the ability to “disappear” messages or set remote deletion deadlines. That enables users to have much more control over how long people can access what you’re sending them. Given that Russian law enforcement officials are reportedly (via Insider) stopping people in the street and demanding to read their text messages, this could be vital to protect individuals from reprisals.
