Участники мастер-класса познакомятся с основами поэтического перевода, поучаствуют в подробном разборе стихотворений на арабском языке, а также узнают о разных способах перевода поэзии на русский язык, основываясь на практических примерах. Все участники попробуют сделать собственный перевод разобранных стихотворений и обсудят его с ведущим. Знание иностранных языков не обязательно: цель встречи — попытка поместить иноязычный текст в контекст русской поэтической традиции и поразмышлять о разных возможностях его перевода.
