15 января в домашнем матче чемпионата России по хоккею с мячом среди команд Суперлиги «Байкал-Энергия» проиграла «Кузбассу» из Кемерово. Встреча, прошедшая в ЛД «Байкал», завершилась со счетом 4:7 в пользу гостей.

У иркутской команды отличились Артем Бондаренко, Давид Корешков и Эмиль Бихузин. Несмотря на поражение, «Байкал-Энергия» сохранила свои позиции в турнирной таблице.
