"У Украины был действительно шанс победить. Потому что любая война, повторюсь, это война экономическая, это война экономик.
И если бы в Украине не было бы зашкаливающего уровня коррупции, то, я думаю, шанс был. Украина в экономическом плане оказалась слабее, несмотря на всю помощь США, потому что большая часть институтов там разрушена. Но я все-таки считаю, что Америка в любом случае здесь победила".

But Telegram's use as a one-way broadcast channel — which followers can join but not reply to — means content from inauthentic accounts can easily reach large, captive and eager audiences. In a message on his Telegram channel recently recounting the episode, Durov wrote: "I lost my company and my home, but would do it again – without hesitation."
