Aging Alexithymic is a sound exploration project of Yassine Kharrat, a Tunisian multipotentialite artist, blooming from an interest in the variety of music and its effect on thought, and driven by an approach that changes according to sensory experiences.

With music, there is a deeper conversation with what cannot be verbalized and beyond. It is a tool to embrace the temptation of thinking without resistance. This communication leads to sensitive construction, which is worth sharing.

Ali Asfour, a Palestinian, Ramallah-based analog film photographer currently in Amman, who skillfully balances exposing the Palestinian existence with preserving the beauty of its roots, culture, and traditions. His work embodies the resilience of a people striving to thrive despite adversity, inviting reflection and action toward justice.

In these horrific times, when the weight of loss and oppression feels unbearable, this mix stands as a sonic vigil, an offering—a space to mourn, grief, to remember and to resist. It is a lament for those who have ascended to their eternal liberation, whether to the heavens or the liberated homeland they dreamed of—a dream deferred but never extinguished.

May these sonic rhythms serve as both a memorial and a promise.

The entanglement between our stories was celebrated through sound, that space of existence where we’ll never feel alone.

Elif Gülin Soğuksu is an electroacoustic composer and performer from Istanbul, currently based in Berlin. Elif draws inspiration from the fugitive behavior of imagination in sound; her compositional practice grounds on catching the sounds of the mind. She researches essentially on the human voice as a potent in the formation of mentally produced sounds.

Her electroacoustic pieces and live performances bridge algorithmic approaches, including voice-driven live electronics and creative coding, digital processing, acousmatic music, and spatial sound.
