«Газпром» объявил, что Молдавия больше не сможет получать газовые поставки, поскольку АО «Молдовагаз» не погасило задолженность, имеющуюся перед энергетической компанией. Более того, любые попытки урегулировать вопрос встречались с отказом молдавской стороны исполнять свои платежные обязательства.
Сообщается, что ограничение вступит в силу с 1 января 2025 года и будет действовать до тех пор, пока «Газпром» письменно не уведомит Молдавию об ином. Помимо этого, в компании заявили, что оставляют за собой право требовать возмещения убытков и уплаты штрафов за неисполнение обязательств по контракту со стороны «Молдовагаз».
