Nach der Messerattacke von Aschaffenburg will Bundeskanzler Olaf #Scholz am Mittwoch im Bundestag eine Regierungserklärung abgeben. Dabei hat er in der „Stuttgarter Zeitung“ die #CDU davor gewarnt, die Brandmauer zur AfD einzureißen und mit den Stimmen der Partei die Anträge zur Migrationspolitik im Bundestag durchsetzen zu wollen.
Unionskanzlerkandidat Friedrich #Merz hatte zuvor bestätigt, dass die Unionsfraktion solche Anträge unabhängig davon stellen werde, wer ihnen zustimme. AfD-Kanzlerkandidatin Alice Weidel sieht darin einen Paradigmenwechsel. Die Brandmauer sei gefallen, schrieb die Politikerin auf X. Merz schließt allerdings eine Zusammenarbeit mit der AfD aus.

Telegram, which does little policing of its content, has also became a hub for Russian propaganda and misinformation. Many pro-Kremlin channels have become popular, alongside accounts of journalists and other independent observers. "And that set off kind of a battle royale for control of the platform that Durov eventually lost," said Nathalie Maréchal of the Washington advocacy group Ranking Digital Rights. He adds: "Telegram has become my primary news source."
