17 октября - день Пророка Осии - войсковой праздник донских казаков

До 1917 года у каждого казачьего войска был свой особо почитаемый Святой-покровитель. У донских казаков — ветхозаветный Святой пророк Осия, который за тысячу лет до пришествия Спасителя пророчествовал о Его жертве и воскресении. Почитаемая "Книга пророка Осии" — одна из самых вразумительных изо всех пророчеств, но ныне, к сожалению, в забвении.

День Пророка Осии становится официальным войсковым праздником Донского казачьего Войска, в память и в благодарность Богу за чудесное спасение семьи российского императора Александра III при крушении царского поезда 17 октября 1888 года.

Telegram does offer end-to-end encrypted communications through Secret Chats, but this is not the default setting. You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp. But Telegram says people want to keep their chat history when they get a new phone, and they like having a data backup that will sync their chats across multiple devices. And that is why they let people choose whether they want their messages to be encrypted or not. When not turned on, though, chats are stored on Telegram's services, which are scattered throughout the world. But it has "disclosed 0 bytes of user data to third parties, including governments," Telegram states on its website. The news also helped traders look past another report showing decades-high inflation and shake off some of the volatility from recent sessions. The Bureau of Labor Statistics' February Consumer Price Index (CPI) this week showed another surge in prices even before Russia escalated its attacks in Ukraine.
