🇹🇲 Талибы съездили в Ашхабад

Делегация "Талибана"*, которую возглавил Вахидулла Халими, замглавы Мингорпрома, в главном офисе госконцерна "Туркменгаз" провела переговоры с Мухаммедмурадом Амановым, исполнительным директором консорциума TAPI Pipeline Company Ltd.

Талибы предложили в ближайшее время создать техническую группу для проработки плана газораспределительной сети в г. Герат в рамках проекта газопровода ТАПИ. Кроме того, Аманов пообещал в течение 2 недель подготовить и передать талибам календарь запуска работ про проекту.

Из Ашхабада Халими отправился прямиком в Герат, где обсудил это с губернатором Нур Ахмадом Исламджаром, посетив местные промышленные предприятия.

🔸Газопровод ТАПИ должен пройти через провинции Герат, Фарах, Нимроз, Гильменд и Кандагар, оттуда - в Пакистан. Работы по ТАПИ должны были запустить до середины апреля. Новый срок - до декабря. Больше узнать о нем можно в инфографике @sputnikaf

Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations. The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels. "For Telegram, accountability has always been a problem, which is why it was so popular even before the full-scale war with far-right extremists and terrorists from all over the world," she told AFP from her safe house outside the Ukrainian capital. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised.
