"К сожалению, в связи со сложившейся ситуацией считаю невозможным для себя выходить на сцену Театра драмы Республики Карелия, поэтому вынуждена расторгнуть контракт. Еще раз приношу свои извинения всем, кого невольно обидела", — написала актриса.
Ранее скандал разразился после стендап-выступления Валерии, где она сравнила карельский язык с мужскими сосками, уточнив, что это такой же атавизм.
Выступление вызвало бурную реакцию в республике. Кто-то призывал простить актрису, кто-то максимально жёстко оценил сравнение. Глава Карелии Артур Парфенчиков заявил о подготовке обращения в Следком для проверки выступления.
