Ситуация у здания парламента Грузии накалилась. На месте произошли стычки между полицией и участниками антиправительственной акции, выступающими, в частности, против президента Михаила Кавелашвили, легитимность которого не признают пятый президент Саломе Зурабишвили, оппозиция и часть международных партнеров страны.

Силовики, начав задержания, открыли автомобильное движение на проспекте Руставели. Перед этим полиция призвала участников митинга перейти на тротуар и не ограничивать движение.

В ходе стычки пострадал один из демонстрантов, ему оказали первую помощь. Митинг продолжается за пределами проезжей части.
