Премьер-министр Молдавии Дорин Речан сделал два исторических (безо всякой иронии) для молдаван заявления. Во-первых, Молдавия отказывается выплачивать «Газпрому» долг за потребленное топливо в размере $709 млн.
Речан объясняет демарш тем обстоятельством, что газ сожгли в Принднестровье, и Кишинёв за это не в ответе. Из чего можно сделать вывод, что — по крайней мере правительство Молдавии больше не считает Приднестровье частью Молдавии, и признает независимость ПМР.
Кстати, Речан говорит неправду о том, что газом пользовалась только ПМР. Крупнейшая теплоэлектростанция региона — Молдавская ГРЭС (Кучурганская государственная районная электростанция) — действительно расположена в городе Днестровск (ПМР), и газ сжигался там. Но теплом и электричеством ГРЭС, расположенная на берегу Кучурганского лимана, снабжала всю Молдавию, а не только Приднестровье...
