Многострадальный детский городок, эпопея с благоустройством которого началась в июле 2020 года, окончательно исчез.
В конце сентября зоркие тамбовчане во время прогулки по Набережной могли заметить строительную технику, старательно разбирающую то, что должно было стать местом отдыха и прогулок тамбовчан с детьми. На сегодняшний день о былом «величии» объекта напоминают только лавочки, топиарные фигуры лося и двух львов. Да, и пушки остались.
Напомним, что детский городок ранее располагался на углу улиц Сергеева-Ценского и Набережной. Место отдыха тамбовчан и их детей на этом месте просуществовало довольно долго, но в начале двухтысячных годов объект пришлось перенести ближе к улице Энгельса из-за строительства многоэтажки. В 2020-м году снова случилась оказия — городок решили реконструировать, назвав его «Лукоморьем».
