Это первая платная дорога в городе – от проспекта Победы до трассы М7. Таким образом, в столице РТ появилась пятая вылетная магистраль и первая построенная с нуля в новейшей истории Казани.
Стоимость строительства двух этапов составила 39,4 млрд рублей. В церемонии участвовал мэр Казани Ильсур Метшин, по видеосвязи подключались глава Татарстана Рустам Минниханов и вице-премьер России Марат Хуснуллин.
До 11 января 2025 года проезд по открытому участку Вознесенскому тракту будет полностью бесплатным.
