РЖД в этом году вновь запустит на новогодних каникулах поезд №217/218 Москва (Белорусский вокзал) – Санкт-Петербург (Витебский вокзал) через Великие Луки.

В разные дни он будет курсировать разным расписанием. Время в пути составит от 17,5 до 20 часов в зависимости от даты и направления.

В пути поезд дважды поменяет направление движения: на станциях Вязьма и Ржев. Длительные остановки – в Вязьме, Ржеве и Великих Луках. От Вязьмы до Петербурга поезд проследует с тепловозом.

Благодаря своей экзотичности маршрут привлекает не только обычных пассажиров, но и любителей железных дорог.
