За это время учреждение проделало большой и впечатляющий путь. Впервые открыв свои двери в 1924 году, музей стал для нескольких поколений наших соотечественников одним из знаковых мест культурного и исторического просвещения.

Сегодня богатая коллекция музея насчитывает 200 тысяч материалов. Многие музейные экспонаты являются уникальными ценностями, которые имеют мировое значение и составляют неотъемлемую часть культурного наследия Донбасса.

От всего сердца поздравляю руководство и коллектив музея с юбилеем. Благодарю за труд и желаю здоровья, благополучия и удачи в осуществлении всех творческих планов.
