دکتر سیامک زند رضوی، متولد ۱۳۳۵، جامعه‌شناس و عضو هيئت‌علمی گروه علوم اجتماعی دانشگاه شهید باهنر کرمان و در حال حاضر استادیار بازنشسته است. او درعرصه‌ی جامعه‌شناسی مردم‌مدار فعالیت می‌کند و هدفِ عمومی‌سازی و جلب مشارکت شهروندان در پنج عرصه از این قرائت دانش جامعه‌شناسی را دنبال می‌نماید:

چهارم- تمرین پژوهش عملی مشارکتی با هدف جستجوی راه‌حل‌های ممکن برای هر مسأله، با توجه به ایده‌های اعضایی در آن گروه ذی‌نفع که صدای‌شان کمتر شنیده می‌شود
پنجم- مستندسازی و انتشار با تأکید بر فرایند اجرای فعالیت‌ها با هدف رمززدایی و عمومی‌سازی دانش جامعه‌شناسی

The channel appears to be part of the broader information war that has developed following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Kremlin has paid Russian TikTok influencers to push propaganda, according to a Vice News investigation, while ProPublica found that fake Russian fact check videos had been viewed over a million times on Telegram. On Feb. 27, however, he admitted from his Russian-language account that "Telegram channels are increasingly becoming a source of unverified information related to Ukrainian events." And indeed, volatility has been a hallmark of the market environment so far in 2022, with the S&P 500 still down more than 10% for the year-to-date after first sliding into a correction last month. The CBOE Volatility Index, or VIX, has held at a lofty level of more than 30. Telegram has gained a reputation as the “secure” communications app in the post-Soviet states, but whenever you make choices about your digital security, it’s important to start by asking yourself, “What exactly am I securing? And who am I securing it from?” These questions should inform your decisions about whether you are using the right tool or platform for your digital security needs. Telegram is certainly not the most secure messaging app on the market right now. Its security model requires users to place a great deal of trust in Telegram’s ability to protect user data. For some users, this may be good enough for now. For others, it may be wiser to move to a different platform for certain kinds of high-risk communications. Channels are not fully encrypted, end-to-end. All communications on a Telegram channel can be seen by anyone on the channel and are also visible to Telegram. Telegram may be asked by a government to hand over the communications from a channel. Telegram has a history of standing up to Russian government requests for data, but how comfortable you are relying on that history to predict future behavior is up to you. Because Telegram has this data, it may also be stolen by hackers or leaked by an internal employee.
