🔸ستاره NGC 206، یکی از بزرگ‌ترین و درخشان‌ترین مجموعه‌های ستاره‌ای شناخته‌شده، همراه با مناطق ستاره‌زایی صورتی‌رنگ در بازوهای غبارآلود کهکشان آندرومدا قرار گرفته است. این کهکشان مارپیچی که با نام M31 نیز شناخته می‌شود، نزدیک‌ترین کهکشان بزرگ به کهکشان راه شیری است و تنها ۲.۵ میلیون سال نوری با ما فاصله دارد.
