Сегодня телеграм-канал брестского ГУБОПа выложил т.н. "покаянное видео" с двумя бывшими военными.
Первый мужчина (с гематомой на лбу) говорит, что служил во внутренних войсках МВД Беларуси. После 9 августа он сжег свою форму и снял это на видео "из-за большой обиды на коллег".
Второй мужчина говорит, что служил в воинской части №25887. В 2020 году решил уволиться из армии и записал "деструктивное видео" об этом. На видео он говорит, что "ему очень стыдно" за то, что он допустил применение силы против мирных граждан" и надеется, что для кого-то "может стать примером".

He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information. Asked about its stance on disinformation, Telegram spokesperson Remi Vaughn told AFP: "As noted by our CEO, the sheer volume of information being shared on channels makes it extremely difficult to verify, so it's important that users double-check what they read." Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. Two days after Russia invaded Ukraine, an account on the Telegram messaging platform posing as President Volodymyr Zelenskiy urged his armed forces to surrender.
