Зубров осмотрели специалисты районной станции по борьбе с болезнями животных. 4 самца и 4 самки, все чувствуют себя хорошо, промаркированы, клички у всех на букву «М».
По сравнению с вологодскими зубрами окрас новобранцев посветлее, но со временем они обретут окрас местных северных суровых зубров, что связано с климатическими условиями.
Сохранение и увеличению популяции зубров - одна из задач Правительства области. Будем и дальше работать в этом направлении.
