Канатная дорога «Крылья Татева» в третий раз получила премию World Travel Awards 2024 в номинации «Лучшая канатная дорога мира».
Об этом было объявлено на церемонии награждения в Португалии.
Армянская канатная дорога вновь обошла конкурентов из Боливии, Бразилии, Вьетнама, Канады, Новой Зеландии, США и ЮАР. Ранее «Крылья Татева» принесли победу Армении в 2023 и 2021 годах.
«Крылья Татева» включены в Книгу рекордов Гиннесса как самая длинная реверсивная пассажирская канатная дорога в мире (5752 м). Проект был построен в рекордные сроки — всего за 10 месяцев. В этом году “Крыльям Татева” исполнилось 14 лет, за это время услугами канатной дороги воспользовались более 1 300 000 человек.
Канатная дорога была открыта и работает в рамках программы «Возрождение Татева», запущенной Рубеном Варданяном и Вероникой Зонабенд.

Channels are not fully encrypted, end-to-end. All communications on a Telegram channel can be seen by anyone on the channel and are also visible to Telegram. Telegram has a history of standing up to Russian government requests for data, but how comfortable you are relying on that history to predict future behavior is up to you. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. The news also helped traders look past another report showing decades-high inflation and shake off some of the volatility from recent sessions. The Bureau of Labor Statistics' February Consumer Price Index (CPI) this week showed another surge in prices even before Russia escalated its attacks in Ukraine. The headline CPI — soaring 7.9% over last year — underscored the sticky inflationary pressures reverberating across the U.S. economy, with everything from groceries to rents and airline fares getting more expensive for everyday consumers. In addition, Telegram's architecture limits the ability to slow the spread of false information: the lack of a central public feed, and the fact that comments are easily disabled in channels, reduce the space for public pushback. But Kliuchnikov, the Ukranian now in France, said he will use Signal or WhatsApp for sensitive conversations, but questions around privacy on Telegram do not give him pause when it comes to sharing information about the war.
