Американцы восстановили огромную авиабазу в Тихом океане, использовавшуюся для налетов на Японию.

Согласно опубликованным спутниковым снимкам за период с 3 декабря 2023 года по 29 января 2025 года, США реконструировали взлётно-посадочные полосы и другую инфраструктуры аэродрома Норт-Филд на острове Тиниан в западной части Тихого океана.

С данной авиабазы в ходе Второй мировой войны осуществлялись вылеты бомбардировщиков B-29 Superfortress для нанесения ударов по Японии, в том числе для атомных бомбардировок Хиросимы и Нагасаки. Теперь же США планируют использовать остров Тиниан для будущего крупномасштабного конфликта с Китаем.

Because Telegram has this data, it may also be stolen by hackers or leaked by an internal employee. For Oleksandra Tsekhanovska, head of the Hybrid Warfare Analytical Group at the Kyiv-based Ukraine Crisis Media Center, the effects are both near- and far-reaching.
