TL;DR
Authority comes from God alone, not from the "people." Thus being a sovereign, King George the III by way of the Treaty of Paris in 1783 gave sovereignty to the independent states. (look at the opening of the letter, In the Name of the most Holy & undivided Trinity.)
It was these sovereign states that created the federal government. By principle of the authority, the created (federal government) cannot be greater than the creator (the states)
The South understood this principle and acted on it. It was Lincoln and the North who were undermining/inverting that authority.
For his actions, Lincoln was congratulated by Karl Marx.

Theistic Evolutionism supposes that life developed naturally until one branch reached a stage that was suitable to house the rational soul, at which point God infused the soul into this hominid. This concept that the human body must reach a stage of sufficient…

The Author Synthesizes with notable intelligence and an acute Catholic sense the thinking of the German theologian and provides an objective critique of many of his erroneous points...The work avoids confusing technical terms and concepts…

SERVIAM- I Will Serve
From the Book 'Prometheus: The Religion of Man' by Fr. Calderón SSPX. Vatican II was an inversion of the Catholic Church. An anthropocentric turn focusing on self, very similar to Lucifer who also preferred the contemplation of his own essence than subordinating…
I’m (still) genuinely astonished that many "traditionalists" refuse to recognize the differences in teachings between the pre- and post-Vatican II Church, to the extent that it represents a completely different religion.
It's obvious that this is a Humanist religion that glorifies humanity over God (i.e., the anthropomorphic shift).
I've read some liberal perspectives, and even they admit that the Church changed, becoming more accepting, more inviting, and more... worldly.
Liberal "Catholics" spin it to view their beliefs and practices as a renewal or evolution within the Catholic tradition, rather than the creation of a "new" religion. altogether (Development of Doctrine, Continual Revelation through the Church etc)
Here is a quick Overview of what Catholic Humanism Espouses (in very simple, easily understood terms):
Catholic humanism combines Catholic teachings with a focus on human dignity, social justice, and the common good. It emphasizes the moral and ethical implications of faith in real-world contexts. They will stress the importance of human reason, personal experience (phenomenological approach), and scientific insights in understanding faith. They value critical engagement with both tradition and contemporary issues (hermeneutics of continuity, a la the hegelian dialectic, mixing the unmixable)
It promotes inclusivity, encouraging dialogue with other faiths and philosophies. Since Catholic truth is not the only "truth," by dialoguing with other man-made religions, each religion is enhanced via this dialogue.
They will pervert Catholic Social Teaching, advocating for the marginalized (Immigrants over native populations, LGBT, etc), addressing poverty (meanwhile ignoring the current economic systems that enslave us all), and promoting "equality," which they consider core to the Gospel message.
They tend to interpret Church teachings as evolving rather than static, believing that new insights and understandings can emerge in light of changing social and cultural contexts.

In June of 1870, at the First Vatican Council, the Fathers were asked to sign a petition by Bishop Comboni to implore the mercy of God to remove the Curse of Ham from the African Negroes.
In the plea, later signed by sixty-eight bishops, he wrote, “Upon the heads of the children of Ham, so loaded down with miseries, there still weighs that curse, the most ancient ever uttered against a people; and the burning lands in the interior of Africa feel more violently and more cruelly the evil force of that curse.”

The principles that animated the American revolution and founding are no less deadly than those of the French revolution. In some respects, they are more evil. The reason being that the former, uniquely, are an insidious evil, not the honest, so to speak, evil found in the French experiment.
In the same way that communism, which is easily recognizable and nearly-always violent, is less dangerous than liberalism, which has a veneer of respectability and a subtlety that can go undetected. Mass executions of clergy and religious, followed by anti-Catholic legislation are easy to see. What is harder to detect, much less combat, is naturalism, inflamed by an individualistic and capitalistic spirit, preaching rights for true and false religion, alike.
Both systems of revolution, importantly, share the same, underlying anti-Catholic principles.
There is a soft Americanism that is being pushed by (no doubt) well-intentioned persons. It is an error, not rising to heresy, certainly.
The position is largely attitudinal, but its doctrine consists in key omissions. It is still trying to marry the American spirit and project with Roman Catholicism—which does not nor cannot work. Counterrevolution, conspicuously, does not apply to America in their minds.
The only antidote is an un-doing, in a fundamental way, of the American founding and constitution. Using legal means, of course. Not only is accidental reform of American ineffective (history has borne this out), it is wrong in principle.

The Gospel from the Feast of the Ascension of Our Lord
Mark 16:14-20
At that time, Jesus appeared to the eleven as they were at table: and he upbraided them with their incredulity and hardness of heart, because they did not believe them who had seen him after he was risen again. And he said to them: "Go ye into the whole world and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved: but he that believeth not shall he condemned. And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name they shall cast out devils. They shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents: and if they shall drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them. They shall lay their hand upon the sick: and they shall recover." And the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sitteth on the right hand of God. But they going forth preached every where: the Lord working withal, and confirming the word with signs that followed.
Brief Thoughts/Meditation on the Scripture
...He that believes in me shall be saved, and he who doesn't shall be condemned. In MY name they shall cast out devils...
✝️
When in the history of the world has demonic activity been so unmistakable. There is no denying it. It's PALPABLE You encounter it nearly every day. You can try your best to avoid, but like a 'lion seeking to devour souls,' it will not rest.
As disciples of Christ, we too have been given this power to cast out the devils amongst us.
Why then do you stand their looking up the heavens, waiting...waiting... waiting for what? Go.... DO. Our Lord will come back that is his promise. But you, if you have FAITH, you have been given a task. We must conquer this world for Our King.
We must cast out the demons in our midst.

Most Catholics, even in Charlotte, had no idea the meeting occurred. But it was publicly acknowledged in diocesan news after Leo's election, with Bishop Martin describing Prevost as calm, globally attuned, and deeply interested in the Church’s state in America. These are not random compliments. They read like code. In the language of ecclesial diplomacy, Martin was saying: I met the man, and I know where he stands.
