Причиной гигантского штрафа послужил отказ компании разблокировать по решению суда аккаунты нескольких российских телеканалов на YouTube. До тех пор, пока IT-компания не вернет доступ к каналам, размер штрафа каждый день будет расти.

Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. Despite Telegram's origins, its approach to users' security has privacy advocates worried. In 2018, Russia banned Telegram although it reversed the prohibition two years later.
