«Фрукт» появился на Руси во времена Петра из польского языка (не сами фрукты, конечно, а именно слово). Корнями слово уходит в латынь, где fructus это не только «плод», а еще и «произведение, польза». А первоисточник латинский же глагол frui — «наслаждаться». Вот и получается, что в итоге «фрукт» это «то, чем наслаждаются» 🍋

In January, SimpleWeb reported that VK was Russia’s fourth most-visited website, after Yandex, YouTube and Google’s Russian-language homepage. In 2016, Forbes’ Michael Solomon described Pavel Durov (pictured, below) as the “Mark Zuckerberg of Russia.” "There are a lot of things that Telegram could have been doing this whole time. And they know exactly what they are and they've chosen not to do them. That's why I don't trust them," she said. The fake Zelenskiy account reached 20,000 followers on Telegram before it was shut down, a remedial action that experts say is all too rare.
