Израильские военно-морские силы в ночь на 10 декабря уничтожили сирийский военный флот. Об этом сообщил министр обороны Израиля Исраэль Кац во время визита на базу ВМС в Хайфе, пишет The Times of Israel.

Кац заявил, что израильские силы усиливают присутствие в буферной зоне между Сирией и Голанскими высотами и призвал создать на юге Сирии так называемую стерильную оборонительную зону без постоянного пребывания израильских войск, чтобы устранить любую угрозу безопасности Израиля.
