In the Beta version of Telegram for Android, channel administrators with the "Change Channel Info" permission can now enable star reactions.
When enabled, any user can send a star reaction to any channel post.
You can customize how many stars to send to a post by pressing and holding the star icon. The app will display an interface for selecting the number of stars and show which user has sent the most stars among those who reacted to the post with a star reaction.
Furthermore, you can send stars anonymously. In this case, users will only see an anonymous user figure along with the amount of stars sent.

In early 2021, he added that any advertising on the platform would not use user data for targeting, and that it would be focused on “large one-to-many channels.” He pledged that ads would be “non-intrusive” and that most users would simply not notice any change. The next bit isn’t clear, but Durov reportedly claimed that his resignation, dated March 21st, was an April Fools’ prank. Similarly, on April 17th, the Moscow Times quoted Durov as saying that he quit the company after being pressured to reveal account details about Ukrainians protesting the then-president Viktor Yanukovych. The last couple days have exemplified that uncertainty. On Thursday, news emerged that talks in Turkey between the Russia and Ukraine yielded no positive result. But on Friday, Reuters reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin said there had been some “positive shifts” in talks between the two sides.
