Соу, начнем с российского кино. Я немного посмотрел фильмов, показанных в 2024-м году только на отечественных фестивалях, поэтому большинство отобранных картин — прокатные.
Одно большое, но важное для меня исключение — «Пепел и доломит» Томы Селивановой, чья премьера состоялась в Роттердаме. России еще предстоит осознать последствия сталинских репрессий и найти язык разговора на сложную тему. Работа Томы — один смелый шаг, попытка подобрать хоть какие-то слова.

Artem Kliuchnikov and his family fled Ukraine just days before the Russian invasion. Telegram does offer end-to-end encrypted communications through Secret Chats, but this is not the default setting. Standard conversations use the MTProto method, enabling server-client encryption but with them stored on the server for ease-of-access. This makes using Telegram across multiple devices simple, but also means that the regular Telegram chats you’re having with folks are not as secure as you may believe. One thing that Telegram now offers to all users is the ability to “disappear” messages or set remote deletion deadlines. That enables users to have much more control over how long people can access what you’re sending them. Given that Russian law enforcement officials are reportedly (via Insider) stopping people in the street and demanding to read their text messages, this could be vital to protect individuals from reprisals. To that end, when files are actively downloading, a new icon now appears in the Search bar that users can tap to view and manage downloads, pause and resume all downloads or just individual items, and select one to increase its priority or view it in a chat. There was another possible development: Reuters also reported that Ukraine said that Belarus could soon join the invasion of Ukraine. However, the AFP, citing a Pentagon official, said the U.S. hasn’t yet seen evidence that Belarusian troops are in Ukraine.
