В Румынии досчитали голоса избирателей в первом туре. Премьер-министр Марчел Чолаку, который по результатам экзитполов должен был пройти во второй тур, все же не набрал соответствующее количество голосов.
По результатам голосования, во второй тур выборов президента в Румынии вышли Калин Джорджеску и Елена Ласкони.
Отметим, что Ласкони завоевала 2 место на расстоянии 2700 голосов от третьего места, которое занял действующий премьер страны.
Зато сам Чолаку, занявший третье место, заявил, что не будет обжаловать итоги выборов, несмотря на небольшой отрыв от второго места.
В то же время, он подал в отставку с должности главы Социал-демократической партии.
