Российские рыбаки в третий раз обновили мировой и собственный рекорд по вылову одним судном в течение календарного года. Морозильный рыболовный консервный траулер «Петр I» (принадлежит компании «Тралфлот») в 2024 году добыл 93,5 тыс. тонн рыбы.
Судно было на промысле 307 дней: первый рейс длился с 8 января по 1 июня, а второй — с 2 июля по 20 декабря. Общий состав двух экипажей — 130 человек. Зимой и весной траулер добывал минтай, сельдь, иваси и скумбрию в Охотском море и Тихом океане, летом и осенью — иваси и скумбрию в Тихом океане.
По итогам 2023 года рыболовный траулер «Петр I» добыл и переработал более 90 тыс. тонн водных биоресурсов. Его предыдущий рекорд был установлен в 2019 году – 87,2 тыс. тонн рыбной продукции.
