У меня сегодня день рождения, и один из моих друзей пожелал мне чуда - чтобы Седа нашлась живой и здоровой. Спасибо ему и всем тем, кто вопреки тому, что надежды мало, у многих уже нет совсем, всё равно продолжает бороться и поддерживать меня. Если бы Седу, нашу Саиду (это её второе имя, которым мы её звали, друзья) не похитили, сегодня мою днюху мы бы отмечали в шумной компании с ней и другими нашими общими друзьями...

He adds: "Telegram has become my primary news source." Just days after Russia invaded Ukraine, Durov wrote that Telegram was "increasingly becoming a source of unverified information," and he worried about the app being used to "incite ethnic hatred." In February 2014, the Ukrainian people ousted pro-Russian president Viktor Yanukovych, prompting Russia to invade and annex the Crimean peninsula. By the start of April, Pavel Durov had given his notice, with TechCrunch saying at the time that the CEO had resisted pressure to suppress pages criticizing the Russian government. Official government accounts have also spread fake fact checks. An official Twitter account for the Russia diplomatic mission in Geneva shared a fake debunking video claiming without evidence that "Western and Ukrainian media are creating thousands of fake news on Russia every day." The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation.
