Согласно ежегодному отчету Octoverse, в 2024 году Python сместил JavaScript с первого места популярных языков программирования на GitHub. В рейтинге набирающих популярность языков также лидирует Python, а за ним следуют TypeScript и Go.

В тройке самых активных пользователей лидируют разработчики из США, за ними следуют программисты из Индии и Китая. Разработчики из России находятся на шестом месте.

But Telegram's use as a one-way broadcast channel — which followers can join but not reply to — means content from inauthentic accounts can easily reach large, captive and eager audiences. In addition, Telegram now supports the use of third-party streaming tools like OBS Studio and XSplit to broadcast live video, allowing users to add overlays and multi-screen layouts for a more professional look. The message was not authentic, with the real Zelenskiy soon denying the claim on his official Telegram channel, but the incident highlighted a major problem: disinformation quickly spreads unchecked on the encrypted app. But Kliuchnikov, the Ukranian now in France, said he will use Signal or WhatsApp for sensitive conversations, but questions around privacy on Telegram do not give him pause when it comes to sharing information about the war.
