Самый старый сохранившийся Зачатьевский собор воздвигнут в конце XVIII и еще отдает флером русского узорочья. Монументальный Дмитриевский собор это классицизм с элементами ампира, построенный на деньги графа Николая Шереметьева. Обитель поделена почти ровно на две части: слева от входа церкви, справа монашеские кельи.
Главная фишка обители это расположение - на берегу Неро. Жаль, что по стенам и колокольни побродить было нельзя, загадочное озеро наверно и там выглядит как-то иначе.
