Возложение цветов к подножию памятника-мемориала артёмовцам, погибшим в годы Великой Отечественной войны 1941-1945 годов и закладному камню, который установлен на месте будущего памятника героям-артемовцам, отдавшим жизнь в ходе специальной военной операции состоялось утром.
Далее по традиции во Дворце культуры Угорьшиков прошло торжественное собрание, на котором чествовали защитников Родины.
Почетным гостем мероприятия стал участник Великой Отечественной Войны Иннокентий Афонасьевич Отев. Иннокентию Афонасьевичу торжественно вручили Юбилейную медаль «80 лет Победы в Великой Отечественной войне 1941-1945 гг.» и присвоили звание Почетного жителя города Артёма.
