Губернатор Дмитрий Азаров и полпред президента РФ в ПФО Игорь Комаров представили Рожина членам правительства, руководителям силовых ведомств и депутатам.
На протяжении нескольких лет Юрий Рожин возглавлял регуправление ФСБ. А в 2017 году вошел в команду губернатора Дмитрия Азарова в должности вице-губернатора по вопросам правопорядка и противодействия коррупции Самарской области.
Должность ГФИ в течение года занимал Владимир Купцов, который до этого четыре года руководил самарским представительством ГК "Ростех".
