А еще мы все это к тому, что такая резкая смена стилистики в отдельно взятой компании (до этого «Mutters & Zoon» оформляли самолеты для «KLM» в стиле ар-деко; собственно, остальные авиакомпании так и продолжали удивлять пассажиров роскошью еще несколько лет), вероятнее всего, обусловлена появлением в Голландии революционных стульев Геррита Ритвельда (фото 1-6) и «Диагонального» кресла Виллема Гиспена (фото 7) из металлических трубок тремя годами ранее, в 1927 г. Как говорится, все переплетено!

We are certainly referring to Rietveld’s and Gispen’s 1927 chairs made of metal tubes (pictures 1-6 and 7, respectively).
