وقد سمعتُ أبا الفتح المظفّر بن حمزة رحمه الله قال: سمعت عبد الواحد بن محمد المُنِيري يقول: رأيت أحمد بن أبي عمران رحمه الله بنيسابور في المنام؛ فقلت له: ما فعل الله بك؟ قال: غَفَر لي بكثرة صلواتي على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم تسليمًا كثيرًا؛ كَتْبًا، وقولًا".
