личинки этих насекомых, поедая сок растений, выделяют пенящуюся жидкость. укутавшись в комок из этой пены, напоминающий плевок, они проводят личиночный период жизни, защищенные от жары, хищников и даже инсектицидов.
конкретно эту особь я аккуратно вытащил палочкой из её жидкого укрытия, чтобы рассмотреть и сфотографировать, но вы можете видеть около нее остатки пены.

The news also helped traders look past another report showing decades-high inflation and shake off some of the volatility from recent sessions.
