Для детей в возрасте 9 - 17 лет целеполагание и систематическое ее достижение является не такой простой задачей, так как префронтальная кора (отвечает за планирование, принятие решений, самоконтроль) еще не до конца сформирована , а активность лимбической системы (эмоциональность, поиск быстрого вознаграждения / удовольствия) повышена.

Родители и среда помогают ребенку ставить и достигать цели.
