Обновлённая функция сервиса под названием Timelapse позволяет увидеть в 3D изменения ландшафта некоторых мест на Земле за последние 37 лет. На сайт Google Earth добавили более 24 млн изображений, снятых в период с 1984 по 2020 года. Ниже можно посмотреть видео с демонстрацией функции.
P.S. в 2014 году в Google Earth уже появлялась функция Timelapse, но тогда это были лишь двухмерные изображения.
