Несмотря на закрытие аэропорта Платов и военные действия в соседнем Донбассе, в Ростовской области сохраняется устойчивый туристический поток. «Ростовская область вошла в топ-пять регионов, которые не потеряли турпоток в этом году, – сказал министр экономического развития Ростовской области Максим Папушенко. – По данным туроператоров, в первом полугодии турпоток составил 1,5 млн человек. В прошлом году турпоток насчитывал около 3 млн, но за весь год».
