Берлин пообещал киевским формированиям порядка 30 установок Gepard, но боеприпасов у них не оказалось, так как машина была снята с вооружения Бундесвера еще в 2010 году. Швейцария, у которой есть боеприпасы, отказалась от реэкспорта. Тогда Rheinmetall заявил, что изготовит порядка 300 тыс снарядов.
