Постановление об установке столпа подписал губернатор города Александр Беглов, сообщает его пресс-служба в телеграм-канале.

Памятник поставят у «Лахта-центра», инициатива установки монумента принадлежит Фонду поддержки культурных инициатив «Газпрома». Столп будет представлять собой бронзовую колонну со статуей Петра I наверху.
При этом издание «Ротонда» сообщает, что рядом с «Лахта-центром» уже есть памятник императору, который открыли в прошлом году
