По его словам, сначала сотрудники правопорядка устно предупредили аграриев, чтобы они дали транспорту свободный доступ к пункту пропуска через государственную границу «Леушены — Албица».
«Некоторые последовали этому требованию, другие — нет. Именно поэтому они были наказаны в соответствии с действующим законодательством. Мы не можем ограничивать права одних граждан, обеспечивая при этом право других граждан на протест», — сказал Ефрос.
Глава МВД заверил, что полиция не намерена вмешиваться, пока акции протеста проходят в рамках закона.
