Город-крепость Орск заложен 15 августа 1735 года Оренбургской экспедицией под руководством Ивана Кирилловича Кирилова в качестве крепости у горы Преображенской на левом берегу реки Урал при впадении в неё реки Орь. На горе Преображенской была построена цитадель, а у горы — деревянная церковь Андрея Первозванного. Указом императрицы Анны Ивановны от 20.8.1739 крепость переименовали в Орскую. Орская крепость стала одним из центров торговли на юго-востоке страны.

А теперь объясните мне, зачем город Орск празднует День независимости Таджикистана?
