4 января Посольство Российской Федерации в Египте провело в Порт-Саиде возложение венка и цветов к могилам русских моряков, погибших в этот день в 1917 году в результате подрыва броненосца «Пересвет» на германской мине возле Суэцкого канала.

🕯 В традиционной церемонии в память о воинах, отдавших жизнь за Отечество во время Первой мировой войны и в другие периоды, участие приняли Посол России Г.Е.Борисенко, сотрудники дипломатического представительства, офицеры военного атташата, а также члены их семей.
