Из-за информационного вакуума неясно, кто конкретно стоит за путчем и на чьей стороне находится большая часть вооруженных сил.

Также остается неизвестной судьба главы государства Альфа Конде, однако местные источники сообщают, что он не пострадал и находится в безопасности.
