Rheinmetall und Leonardo gründen neues Panzer-Schwergewicht
Der italienische und der deutsche Rüstungskonzerne Leonardo und Rheinmetall gründen ein Joint Venture, das einen neuen europäischen Nukleus für die Entwicklung und Produktion militärischer Gefechtsfahrzeuge in Europa bilden soll. Ein entsprechendes Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) hatten die Unternehmen bereits Anfang Juli 2024 in Rom unterzeichnet.
Wie aus einer Pressemitteilung von Rheinmetall hervorgeht, soll der Hauptsitz von Leonardo Rheinmetall Military Vehicles (LRMV) in Rom sein. An dem Projekt sollen beide Partner jeweils 50% der Anteile halten. Als erster Großauftrag ist eine Bestellung der italienischen Armee mit einem Gesamtwert von mehr als 20 Milliarden Euro in Sicht.

The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels. "There are a lot of things that Telegram could have been doing this whole time. And they know exactly what they are and they've chosen not to do them. That's why I don't trust them," she said.
