Deutschland zahlt Millionen Euro für Unterbringung von Afghanen in Pakistan
Die Bundesregierung hat seit 2022 für die Unterbringung und Verpflegung von Afghanen in Pakistan ca. 34,9 Millionen Euro ausgegeben. Dabei handelt es sich um afghanische Staatsbürger, die über die sogenannte „Menschenrechtsliste“, das „Überbrückungsprogramm“ und das „Bundesaufnahmeprogramm für Afghanistan“ einen Aufenthaltstitel in Deutschland erlangt haben.
Das geht aus einer Antwort der Regierung auf eine schriftliche Frage des CDU-Politikers Alexander Throm hervor. „In den Jahren 2022 bis 2024 erfolgte in dieser Zeit im Rahmen aller Aufnahmeverfahren aus Afghanistan die Einreise von über 25.831 (Stand: 29. November 2024) Personen“, heißt es.
